English Music Club's developing2017-2018

The third President of EMC:2017-2018

Miss Wang bai qiu fen:

She is the new President of the English Music Club. This position was handed over to her by the teacher Imma and Ex- President Zhang Pei. She is an outgoing and helpful girl. She also likes making friends.  Her hobbies are singing songs, dancing and reading books. Most of time she can have a very nice state to communicate with others, and she can get many chances to know many cultures. She hopes all of the club's members can have a good relationship with others and try their best to improve their English.

Clib's assistant

Miss Zhangyuhan:

Her name is ZhangYuhan and she comes from Jurong city , Jiangsu province. She works as an assistant in the club. She loves rock music very much. Sometimes she loves listening Chinese traditional music, it will make her calm down. She hopes our club will have more families and all of us have a happy time in our club.

Miss Zhang Yao Yao

She is our club's adviser. She is ambitious, with demonstrated ability to coordinate, aspiring to work in a challenging environment-Where the use of personal initiative is highly needed. She will help the club to proceed in a normal and orderly manner.

Hobbies: Playing badminton, singing, running, traveling, reading, listening to music, making friends and maintaining good human relations.

Christmas Party

In 2017 our English club were took part in a lot of activities, such as English culture festival, Christmas party. Before these activities, we always take a month to practice songs and choose the best song to perform. Every Monday、Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, we would go to Hai Han building to practice songs .And teacher Imma gave us some guidance about how to make songs more pleasant.  We believed that our efforts are not in vain when see the event held successfully. At the Christmas party, you would hear these wonderful songs，just like this, what makes you beautiful ,try and so on. Most songs that you heard in Christmas were prepared by us .They spent much time   to practice these songs in order to make the Christmas successful. Yeah, we made it!

As well as I concerned, it is a wonderful place for us to practice our spoken English, because we need to communicate with others in English. What’s more, I make some good friends, it’s worth joining us!

EMC's first meeting

We meet at Hai han building. Our club adds some new friends, and we take this meeting time to know others. At the beginning, everyone will introduce themselves one by one, every member has three minutes to say something about themselves. Remember, you have to speak English, not Chinese at EMC. Then in the following process, the teacher Imma and Miss Liu Jian have a talk. We all listen carefully. And we introduce our wechat public number. And the meeting is end. Hoping everyone can have a good time！

Watching English Movie

Our English song club was in the classroom on March 23, 2018, and held the first English movie in the club.We watched "god steal dad 3" together. The movie continues the comedy of the first two seasons. One of the funniest of all was that the minions were caught in jail, and together they made a giant balloon. This hot air balloon has a VIP seat and a regular seat. It's hilarious.The film is full of mirth. After watching a movie，we had a heated discussion. People talk in English about the movie plot, the characters' point of view.

Club's Chatting

We talked about the "Paddington bear 2" . Through the further communication of members  , increase the friendship between members. The meeting was all communicated in English, and exercised the members' oral communication skills. In addition, we held fun role-playing activities and free exchange activities. There will be foreign teachers and English teachers in the process.

Spring outing

On the last day of March, some members of the English songs club gathered at the west gate of the school to set off for the Nanjing museum. We took the subway to Nanjing museum. After nearly half an hour, we arrived at the Nanjing museum, where we left a photo.

We visited the republic of China pavilion and we didn't think was that the museum had such a place! The republic of China pavilion is one of the longest places we have visited. Let us seem to forget the time.

Through this activity, we can not only go out to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also learn some extra-curricular knowledge. The most important thing is that the members of our English songs club have enhanced the friendship between members through this activity!

 These are the latest activities of our society, which can add to the fun of members. Please look forward to it.
