立陶宛电子音乐周末 | 你可以不去这个国家,但你一定要听他们的音乐

大家对于电子音乐的刻板印象，言必称柏林阿姆斯特丹，久而久之，所有的人都会认为只要是电子音乐，就无非出自德国荷兰瑞士那么几个固定的地方，但是如果你真的这么想，那么就要井底之蛙般错过这个世界的诸多美好了。

睁开眼睛，看看这个多姿多彩的世界，生命不只是一种颜色，就好像是电子音乐带给我们的精神享受一样，一个自由自在的想象空间，一个不受拘束的让旋律和节奏互相叠加的创作空间。这样的感觉存在于世界上任何一个拥有电子音乐的角落，这次，我们就从诸多不那么广为人知的角落中寻找到一个对于大多数人来说不太熟知的地方：立 陶 宛 。

      

首先，立陶宛是什么国家？ 很多人可能只知道他们的篮球打得非常好，是一支欧洲劲旅，但至于这个国家在哪儿，很少有人深入研究。

：立陶宛共和国，位于东北欧，是波罗的海三国之一，北接拉脱维亚，东南接白俄罗斯，南接波兰，西南接俄罗斯的加里宁格勒州，西滨波罗的海，首都维尔纽斯。它是欧盟、北约、申根公约及多个国际组织的成员。立陶宛是历史古国，与俄罗斯一直在北欧及东欧争雄。昔日曾经与波兰合邦为波兰立陶宛联邦，后来成为沙俄并最终遭吞併。第一次世界大战后独立，但在第二次世界大战时被斯大林领导下的苏联吞并，成为苏联加盟共和国。1990年3月11日立陶宛宣布脱离苏联再次独立，直到1991年9月6日苏联才承认其独立。2004年5月1日，立陶宛正式加入欧盟。2015年1月1日，立陶宛正式成为欧元区第19个成员国。

由于地理原因，位于波罗的海沿岸的立陶宛会在冬天和夏天呈现出两种截然不同的样貌，冬天的立陶宛每天的白昼时间只有6个多小时，剩下的时间都是漫漫长夜，而夏天则截然相反，每天只有短短的5个多小时黑夜，剩下的时间都是白天，这种反差极大的地理特征给予了立陶宛的音乐人极其丰富的创作灵感，无论是深受广大人民群众喜闻乐见的，蹦蹦跳跳的流行音乐，还是充满工业感和空间感的Techno音乐，亦或是曲高和寡的实验电子音乐，立陶宛音乐人都玩得得心应手，再加上他们结合了东欧人和北欧人优点的外貌，个个都是金发碧眼的帅哥美女，颜值高，音乐好，怎么能不讨人喜欢？

因此，立陶宛每年夏天（6月底-8月中）都会有60多个音乐节，对于一个国土面积只有6.53万平方千米，人口只有不到三百万的波罗的海小国来说，这样的音乐节数量已经很庞大了。 Biliunaite女士（也是本次立陶宛电子音乐周末活动的主要发起人之一）一直发愁：立陶宛有着太多的优秀艺术家，奇货可居，自从独立以来，急需要大量的输出来向世界证明本国文化，证明他们不是前苏联的“附属国”，而是一个有着各种各样独特文化的国家。目前，立陶宛也处在中国提出的“一带一路”的政策辐射范围内，于是，中国和立陶宛之间双方面的文化交流成为了中国文化输出的重点项目之一 。

 

在2017年7月的时候，AgnesBiliunaite女士和立陶宛当地厂牌Night Moon的CEO Linas Aliukonis一起带领WENG WENG和YANG BING等一行人参加了当地著名的Radistal Festival，作为波罗的海地区最大的电子音乐之一，其风格从EDM到Techno，House，Disco，Hip-hop等应有尽有，音乐节本身在立陶宛广袤的森林中的一个湖中小岛上举办，不仅拥有美丽的自然风光，同时，音乐节应该具备的各项基础设施也十分齐全 ，生生地建造出了一个世外桃源。

 

之后在立陶宛首都维尔纽斯，一行人正好赶上了当地每周一都会举办的“Minimal Monday”电子音乐活动，在维尔纽斯老城区的一个非常漂亮的院子里，有DJ演出，酒水供应和现场烧烤等，俨然是一个小型的音乐节活动，因为中国DJ的到来，现场涌入了500多人，WENG WENG 献上了2个多小时的精彩SET，现场观众再次疯狂起舞。

现在，MinimalMonday的组织者，立陶宛电子音乐届的老大NERIJUS DAMASEVICIUS （SHN）就要带着他厂牌中最优秀的其他三名电子音乐人在12月15日的北京灯笼俱乐部，12月16日的深圳OIL CLUB第一次向中国观众展示来自神秘的波罗的海国家最为出色的电子音乐演出。

 大多数情况下，如果有国际音乐人来到中国的Club中演出，都会是一个人或者两个人，而这次，立陶宛的电子音乐人一下子就来了四个人，充满东欧异域风情的电子音乐将会充斥你的耳朵一整晚，你再也不用担心来得太晚或者喝的太花而错过最重要的音乐人的演出了。

 SHN 

 

(minimal.lt, Supynes festival)

 

SHN不仅仅在Techno和混音方面出类拔萃，同时也是波罗的海地区最大的电子音乐节——Supynes Festival的主要组织者之一。除了大型音乐节，他也在立陶宛首都维尔纽斯以“Minimal.It”这个由他建立的电音组织的名义于每周一举办小型Party“Minimal Monday”。总是站在DJ台后面的SHN其实有着超乎寻常的音乐品味，这是通过这些超乎寻常的音乐品味，让他总是能够给观众带来意想不到的惊喜和出乎意料的新的音乐类型。而且，他的演出就好像是一场情绪的盛宴，或者是舞池中的黄金时段，总之，他的音乐总是通过细微的变化让Party的一切都非常到位。

SHN isfamous not only for his skills in mixing and selecting some cutting-edge technocuts, but also for being one of the main organizers of Supynes Festival, one ofthe biggest electronic music festivals in the Baltics. Apart from this festivalhe is also responsible for numerous parties in Vilnius, which he organized withminimal.lt, a crew of whom he is the founder and a long-time member. His goodand diverse taste behind the decks helps him to convince crowds with freshsounds of intelligent techno and to showcase the adventurous nature of thegenre. His sets can lean towards more moody listening vibe or explode inintense prime-time dancefloor experience. But the subtle undertones are alwaysin place.

 Mantas T 

 

从1997年开始，Mantas T就是一个永远逆潮流而上的弄潮儿，黑胶疯子，DJ和Partyzanai Record Label的创始人。游走于世界各地，挖掘更多的电子音乐的不同走向和趋势。无论走到哪里，他都是一名坚定的“黑胶DJ”，从某种意义上讲，这已经成为了他的标志性“反叛动作”，用以对抗在当今科技发展下，不可避免的音乐数字化。Mantas从90年代就开始在立陶宛的第二大城市Kaunas的各种Party上做起了DJ，之后，他旅居到了美国和英国，并且在英美80年代音乐中找到了自己的音乐方向，2004年，当Mantas回到立陶宛后，立刻决定成立了他自己的厂牌。不过，不安现状的他又追随着爱情的脚步去了德国科隆，但他没有荒废掉自己的厂牌，奔波于德国和立陶宛之间，致力于将自己的厂牌Partyzanai Record Label以及子厂牌PartyzanaiPop Records, Plius Plius Plius Records与当地的俱乐部的合作，既丰富了德国电子音乐的内容，同时也为有天赋的立陶宛年轻的音乐人提供了更多的演出机会。Mantas T的演出过程中涉猎的音乐非常之广，而且经常会出现很多难得一见的唱片，从Disco到Techno应有尽有。在他20年的DJ生涯中，作为立陶宛第一个地下俱乐部Gravity的常驻DJ，他的名字在立陶宛电子音乐届中已经是无人不知无人不晓，并且至今都在和各种各样的国际艺人合作各种艺术活动和音乐演出。

Constantsound rebel, vinyl enthusiast, dj, Partyzanai record label founder and promotersince 1997. Cosmopolitan, traveller and digger throughout many electronic musictrends, capitals, styles and beyond. Plays only vinyl, which became kind of arebel act and signature of his dj sets in today's inevitable musicdigitalisation. Starting his career in the young party scene of Kaunas in the90s, and finding himself during the 80s revival in the US and UK years later,he returned to his homeland in 2004, motivated to start his own label. Later hefollowed his love to Cologne, but still between Germany and Lithuania holdsresidencies in the local underground clubs and runs his own Partyzanai labeland sub-labels (Partyzanai Pop Records, Plius Plius Plius Records), which takean important role in the local vibrant electronic music scene by discoveringand pushing the new talented artists. Mantas T. dj sets reflect a wide spectrumof sound, as well as his love for obscure, hard-to-find records, which extendsfrom obscure disco to modern techno. During his over 20 years dj career he waswell known-resident of Lithuania’s first underground nightclub Gravity,performed and still performing beside various internationally establishedartists in his own promoted and independent events.

 Jon 

Jon作为Minimal.lt 和Black WaveMovements的重要成员，目前已经成为立陶宛电子音乐届作为知名的DJ之一。Jon来自于立陶宛西部一个叫做Klaipėda的海边小城，城市混合了湖水、大海以及工业化气息，正好也给他对于声音的敏感度和理解度带来一种平衡感。Jon的演出中涉猎的音乐范围非常广，从monolith heavyweight techno到 meditative和hypnoticambience等，都会涉及。他的DJ Set充满了不确定性，也充满了惊喜，同时又不失精准的混音，旋律的跳动性和连贯性。4/4拍的舞蹈节奏既可以在生理上给人带来想要跳舞的冲动，更能在心理和感官上给观众带来更多的精神刺激。Jon平时喜欢演3-5个小时的长Set，只有这样才能让他的Set的叙事性充分发挥出来，但叙事的同时也不乏充满惊喜的小范围的音色转化。

 

除了做DJ之外，Jon也自己做音乐，旨在让丰富而沉重的浮动音景与优雅的节奏更加平衡。曾经多年的古典钢琴的学习经历让他在作曲方面会更加具有想象力。他制作的Techno音乐因此除了紧张的节奏外，还有这富有异域风情的旋律和激荡的叙事性。更值得一提的是，Jon在音乐剧方面也颇有建树——他不仅是Black Wave event的策展人，而且更是在声誉极佳的立陶宛Klaipėda剧院担任音乐和视觉总监的职位。

Jon isone of the most promising faces in Lithuanian techno scene strongly affiliatedwith minimal.lt and Black Wave movements. He is coming from Klaipėda, a seasideport-town in the Western Lithuania and probably this balance between thewaterfront, vast sea and city’s industrial heritage affected his sonic sensibilities.Jon’s sound might range from monolith heavyweight techno to meditative andhypnotic ambience or just the common ground between the two. His dj sets arespontaneous and full of surprises, but at the same time always precisely mixed,dynamic and consistent. 4/4 danceable lines usually go together with strongatmospheric sensibilities providing not only physical but also emotionalexperiences for the crowds. Jon is also keen on playing long 3-5 hour sets,where he can elaborate his narratives even further, while never lackingsurprising twists and turns.

Apartfrom djing Jon also restlessly produces his own tracks, where the balancebetween rich floating soundscapes and heavy, yet elegant rhythmic patterns iseven more evident. His background in classical piano also informs his smartcomposition moves. The dense productions contain some exotic flavour addingmuch more excitement to the narration. Jonas’ extra musical activities are alsoworth mentioning as he is one of the curators of Black Wave event and mixseries, which consistently maintains high quality, and also works as a soundand video director for Klaipėda State Music Theater.

GRAD_U 

一切始于2005年，当来自立陶宛首都维尔纽斯的DJ和制作人Aleksandr听到了来自Fluxion的《Prospect II》后，即便他已经放了5年多的高质量的Drum’n’Bass，但依然对他的音乐理念产生了巨大的冲击。虽然这已经不是他第一次听到这首歌，可在一个特定的时间，特定的地点，或者说的准确一点，特定的深度，让Aleksandr下决心去寻找新的声音和新的氛围。在开始的一年中，这个新的声音还没有名字，但当Aleksandr的第一支单曲准备要发行的时候，当时Aleksandr正在学习的函数U的梯度此刻逐渐变成了grad_u。而梯度实际上也表明了其功能增加的方向，因此，一直也为grad_u的音乐之旅铺平了道路。

 

好了，不再聊数学了。grad_u的音乐就好像是浮动在你童年的金色树林和你现在所生活的钢筋水泥丛林中的一股清泉。这些声音通常都是在用磁带录制音轨的时候就已经决定好的，在这些音轨背后，蕴含着grad_u的家庭，日常生活，哲学思考，空间探索和一些天马行空的想象以及如何通过现场的声音系统表现出来的绝妙创意。

 

在他的世界里——比如他的工作室，grad_u很快意识到在他的身边有一个群体正在慢慢扩大。2009年，他和他痴迷于回授音的制作人朋友一起推出了“Dumblys”，一个专注于立陶宛电子音乐的线上厂牌。grad_u终于如愿以偿地拥有了一个明确目标的厂牌，在Knowone的几次成功演出之后，他开始成立属于他自己的只专注于黑胶的厂牌：Redscale。自2012年第一次发行专辑以来，目前他们已经发行了9张专辑，且所有的专辑都由grad_u亲自操刀制作。不过，这并不代表着这些专辑都是千篇一律，他总是能找到一些不同的制作人一起合作，来丰富专辑的内容。

 

夏天的时候，你可以再很多立陶宛以及周边的音乐节上看到Grad_u的演出。如果你足够幸运，你还可以在Club演出中看到他表演一些难得一见的live set。就像函数趋向一样，Grad_u的状态也越来越稳定，越来越多的来自维尔纽斯以及周边的演出邀请也越来越多，他的前途不可限量。

The BigBang happened in 2005 when Aleksandr, a Vilnius DJ and producer who had alreadybeen pouring some quality drum’n’bass for some 5 years from his home studio,accidentally heard Prospect II by Fluxion. It definitely wasn’t the first timehe heard the track but, at the right time and the right place, or, moreaccurately, the right depth, it pushed Aleksandr to aim for a new vibe and newsound. For a year the fresh and dubby vibe was nameless, but as soon as thedeal was done for the first release, the gradient of function U that Aleksandrstudied at the moment gently became grad_u. The gradient actually demonstratesthe direction of increase of the function, so, consistently, it also paved thepath of grad_u’s musical journey.

 

Butenough about math. The sound of grad_u levitates in the golden middle betweenyour childhood’s forest and your everyday asphalt jungle. The purity of thesesoundscapes is usually predetermined by recording the tracks on tape, andinside these tapes the producer encrypts both his family, everyday life,philosophical thoughts, space explorations, and some wild fantasies of how itall would sound live through a proper sound system.

 

Locatedin his airplane-like studio, grad_u soon came to realize there is a certaincommunity growing around him. In 2009, together with fellow echo-orientedproducers he launched Dumblys, a netlabel dedicated to Lithuanian electronicmusic. A tangible piece of music was something he always longed for, and, aftera few successful on Knowone, grad_u was determined to launch a vinyl-only labelhimself. That’s how Redscale was born, and, in 5 years since the its firstrelease in 2012, the catalogue has already reached the number RDSCL09. All ofthe tracks released on Redscale are produced by grad_u but, luckily enough forhis fans, the producer also finds time to collaborate with fellow imprints,Baum from Denmark being the latest (as of 2017) example of the dubby andtimeless friendship.

 

In thesummertime, Grad_u can be heard in selected festivals in Lithuania and around.If you’re very lucky you can also catch him in a nightclub, playing a veryspecial live set. As the gradient demonstrating the direction of grad_u issmoothly stable, more and more bookings that require longer journeys from theproducer’s hometown Vilnius can be expected in the near future.
