音乐剧《悲惨世界》（Les Misérables），改编自维克多·雨果（Victor Hugo）的同名小说， 由Claude-Michel Schönberg作曲，法文歌词由Alain Boublil和Jean-Marc Natel创作，1980年在法国巴黎首演，Herbert Kretzmer改编成英文歌词于1985年在伦敦首演，成为伦敦西区上演年期最长的音乐剧（在百老汇时长也排名第二）。

    故事以1832，讲述了主人公冉阿让在多年前遭判重刑，假释后计划重新做人、改变社会，但却遇上种种困难的艰辛历程。

    《Do you hear the people sing?》这首歌是全剧最燃的部分。和平时代的人们难以想象战争年代人的经历，和谐时期的少年也难以读懂革命年代老人们的思维。青年们的热血在群氓的冷漠下最终成为湮灭在历史长河中的一片涟漪。无论自由还是保守，进步还是反应，激情消退之后，总还能留下感动。

    几代演员的唱腔各具特色，为避免众口难调还是都放上吧~~

 

    首先是1980年法语版本，正如英语版的出品人卡梅隆·麦金托什在25周年纪念演出上所言，最初的灵感来自维克多·雨果，他启发了两名法国人，也只能是法国人。

 

    然后是英语版本,英语版的产生使这部剧真正走向了世界，这确并非言过其实。以下是几个经典的版本。
